Advisory for the Indian Nationals
All are alerted that there have been instances of Indian nationals in Germany receiving fraudulent phone calls from the telephone number 0049-911-943-6390 (telephone number of BAMF- German Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) threatening registration of case/deportation for furnishing incorrect information to the Immigration authorities in India at the time of travel to Germany and forcefully insisting on immediate payment of fine for the same. All such cases should be immediately brought to the notice of the Consulate (firstname.lastname@example.org) and the BAMF office by e-mail to email@example.com. A similar advisory/caution regarding such fraudulent phone calls can also be seen at the BAMF website (www.bamf.de).
